It's win-win.
We only have 20 boxes to give out, so to get involved and find out more, read on!
Hello! Naomi here, founder of Nibsy's. The above idea has been on my mind for a while and I'll explain why - and I hope some of you can relate to this.
I was born in the 80's and during my childhood and teenage years my perception of the natural word was that it was eternal beauty that would last forever.
Now I'm a grown-up (or at least 90% of the time anyway!) and run the coffee shop, along with balancing being a mum to my two gorgeous young boys. I'd say I'm a "glass half full" kind of person, usually looking for the 'brighter side' of things. When it comes to challenges or finding solutions to problems I veer towards the idea of doing something rather than nothing at all. As a result, I sometimes get things wrong. But my intentions are good.
Over the last few years, as we are all becoming more and more aware of climate change, there is often a dark cloud looming in my thoughts; Rarely does a day go by when I don't think about the implications of climate change and the future. Some days I feel optimistic and hopeful that somehow enough will change, quickly enough for our generation to turn things around, before it's too late. And on not such good days I feel lost for words.
I recently watched the new documentary on Netflix with David Attenborough - "A life on our Planet". It's heartbreaking. One of the things that is clear is that we need to "re-wild" our planet.
Autumn is a great time of year for planting trees. And so I'd like to help by doing a simple "give-away" in exchange for a tree to be planted. My husband Jonathan has built and reserved 20 DIY donut boxes (worth £26 each) which we will send to the first 20 people who plant a tree. The donut box can be posted nationwide so we can reach you, wherever you are in the UK!
We only have 20 boxes to give away , but maybe you can plant a tree anyway!
To find out more and to get involved read the below "How it works" - we have no idea how many of you will want to take us up on the offer so, we have a form where you register your interest and we'll be in touch ASAP.

Update... We've had well over 20 applications now! Wow and thank you!
As we've now got 20 people confirmed, you are still welcome to register your interest,
and if anything changes, we will be in touch.

How it works
- Register your details on the form below once you've read these further points:
- Once you've registered using the form, please wait for us to confirm back that we have you added to the list (we don't know how quickly they will fill up).
- Once we've confirmed back with the "go-ahead" you have two weeks to plant a tree - and once you've done it, send us a before and after photo, either via email or social media. We can't wait to see these! And we'll send you a donut box with a baking tray (see our donut tab for more info) as a thank you, which you can enjoy during these colder months.
- Because we have a limited number of 20 donut boxes and hopefully many of you wanting to take part, we want to make sure those of you who register are as keen as we are to get the tree and donut box "swap" done as soon as possible! So you will have 2 weeks from when you register to plant your tree.
- If time elapses beyond the two weeks since you registered and we've not heard from you, we'll open up the form again for someone else to take part! I hope this seems fair to everyone.
- The tree needs to be a tree that has been established, i.e has a trunk, even if it's small!
- We are not gardening experts, so please check or find out what the best conditions need to be for your tree to thrive!
If you like the sound of this but don't have a garden or anywhere to plant a tree, please feel free to spread the word anyway!
It all helps!
Thank you!
